In recent years, Vietnam has become the darling of the international business community. The country is signatory to numerous Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) either soon to be finalized (such as the EU-Vietnam FTA), or soon to come into effect (such as the EAEU-Vietnam FTA), and has taken concrete steps to liberalize its business environment for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).

2016 has been a busy year of changes in Vietnam’s regulatory environment. Investors will have to take time to fully understand the plethora of changes and their impact on their industry or specific business interests in order to not miss out on the constantly evolving growth opportunities in the country.

In this webinar, ASEAN Business Intelligence Associate Dustin Daugherty and International Business Advisory Associate Oscar Mussons from our Ho Chi Minh City office discuss the year of changes in Vietnam’s FDI regulatory environment in 2016 and shed light on some upcoming changes for 2017.
