Duxes Summit to Cover the Booming Chinese Auto Aftermarket

As the age and number of vehicles in circulation increases over the next decade, the auto aftermarket in China is expected to expand. Currently, the Chinese aftermarket only accounts for 30% of auto industry profits, below norms of 65% in mature markets, indicating that there are solid prospects for growth.

Following up on last year’s event, and the promising market conditions detailed, Duxes will host the 2nd Automotive Aftermarket Summit 2017 on November 13-14 in Shanghai. The summit will bring together important voices drawn from domestic and international OEMs, online platforms, government agencies, non-profit associations and research institutions, to discuss the future of the auto aftermarket, by detailing the effects of new government policies, e-commerce, new energy vehicles, and innovative business models.

The summit’s first day will feature thorough coverage of crucial new policies in China, including the Administrative Measures for Auto Sales, and Auto Electronic Maintenance Health Records, in addition to testimony from leading players in e-commerce, on developments related to aftermarket online sales. Further content will highlight the parts certification process and changes wrought by new energy vehicles.

The final day continues with presentations on characteristics of the Chinese aftermarket. Leading enterprises will detail the independent aftermarket, new auto repair channels, aftersales service models, market allocation, and the effects of car sharing platforms.

The 2nd Automotive Aftermarket Summit 2017 will pick up where last year’s summit left off, and continue to fulfill Duxes’ mission to equip enterprises in the auto aftermarket with essential knowledge of the Chinese market. Professionals working for OEMs, parts suppliers, repair shops, e-commerce platforms, and in related fields across the automotive industry, are invited to attend.
