In international news, North Korea has developed a new messenger application which is expected to expedite trade across the border with China, GPI Consulting’s economic-related press tour to NK has been postponed, and Pyongyang’s first and only foreign law firm is to suspend operations. 

In Inter-Korean news, former South Korean Presidents, Kim Dae-jung and Roh Moo-hyun’s approach towards North Korea, known as the “sunshine policy” is discussed.

On the domestic front, an increasing number of 24-hour convenience stores are opening in North Korea, similar to those in the South. Satellite footage has revealed the construction of possibly the biggest shopping complex in the country, and finally, Korean Central Television has shown a new 3D printer to be used for cosmetic surgery and dentistry.
