This regular publication looks at current international, domestic, and peninsular affairs concerning North Korea while also offering commentary and tourism information on the country.

In international news, a special delegation from the President of Namibia made an official visit to North Korea last month. North Koreans are taught entrepreneurship and workshops in swimming and table tennis have been set up supported by the Agitos Foundation with the hope of boosting the number of para Olympic athletes.

In Inter-Korean news, the number of malaria patients in South Korea is increasing, possibly due to a lack of inter-Korean cooperation for disease prevention in the DMZ and the Incheon Mayor has started to encourage fish trade between the North and South of the country.

On the domestic front, North Korea is set to host the 2018 Junior World Championships for the International Weightlifting Federation. With regards to technology, the manufacturing of solar-powered buses for use in Nampho is now well underway. The buses will have a capacity of more than 80 passengers and will help to reduce noise pollution in the city.
