This rapidly expanding middle class, in conjunction with low penetration rates for vehicle insurance products, has made Asian markets appealing for global insurers.

In view of these trends, and five years of hosting events in the field, Duxes will hold the Asia Pacific Vehicle Insurance Summit 2017, on June 7-9 in Singapore. Speakers, drawn from government, leading insurance companies, and professional associations, will analyze important topics related to vehicle insurance in Asia, providing attendees with insight into future market trends, and best practices.
The first day of the summit, the pre-event, will consist of several presentations from high-ranking executives in leading companies, discussing telematics, a technological phenomenon which promises to have enormous implications for the future of the vehicle insurance industry. The speakers will discuss new business models enabled by telematics, applications for new technologies, telematics data collection, and other pertinent topics. The summit’s next day will begin with detailed testimony from officials in regulatory agencies from different jurisdictions throughout Asia, including China, India, and the ASEAN trade bloc, regarding government policies relevant to the industry. The second half of the day, as well as the summit’s final day, will shift its focus to business practices in vehicle insurance, with presenters and panelists covering distribution channels, product innovation, branding in auto insurance, and technological developments.
