On June 21,2018, Dezan Shira & Associates' International Business Advisory Manager, Kyle Freeman, will share his “China +1 Strategy” with the audience from the Chicago China Club.
In the presentation, Kyle will first introduce the key changes in China's foreign investment market and compare it with Southeast Asian countries. Then he will introduce how foreign investors can apply a China +1 strategies making use of the comparative advantages of these different regions. The discussion will inclue the below three key topics:
• How changes in China are reshaping foreign investment in the country (i.e. wages / total employment cost, environmental regulations, etc.)
• Comparison of China and Southeast Asian countries (i.e. taxes, labor costs, office / land costs, etc.) & review of FTAs in the region.
