Founded in 1999, Asia Briefing includes investment news about China, Hong Kong, India, the ASEAN nations of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, as well as Central and Western Asia. We provide tax and free trade updates, legal and regulatory and operational articles and examine how the Asian region is becoming integrated through structures such as the Eurasian Economic Union, Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, and many others.

Asia is home to 60% of the total global population and has 40% of global GDP. It is the fastest growing economic region in the world with GDP growth averaging 7.5% per annum. Consequently, global supply chains are centered on the region due to worker availability, lower production costs and skilled manufacturing labor. There are more millionaires in Asia than any other part of the world, with global foreign investment also the highest into Asia than anywhere else. Asia's middle class consumer base is also growing higher than anywhere else globally with foreign investors increasing wanting to access the Asian consumer market as a result.

Asia Briefing provides unique business intelligence to foreign investors interested in or operating in these markets. We provide regulatory updates, analysis and commentary on today's real issues concerning the foreign investor in Asia, with numerous daily online updates, regular magazines, and technical legal and tax guides to doing business in each of these markets.
