Dezan Shira & Associates' International Business Advisory Assistant Manager, Valeria Manunza, together with Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting Service Team, Daisy Huang, will present on the New IIT regime for China-Italy Chamber of Commerce in Guangzhou.

On August 31, 2018, the second draft of the Individual Income Tax Law was passed. The new law makes changes to many elements of the calculation and enforcement of individual income tax (IIT) in China — focusing on expanding deductibles, adjusting tax brackets, and changing residency rules.

In this seminar, Dezan Shira & Associates’ experts introduce in detail how these new changes will apply to daily life and how this will affect foreign invested companies in China. Key topics of the presentaiton will include:

  • Introduction to key changes and policy rationale
  • Consolidation of income categories
  • Deductions
  • New income tax brackets
