Seminar: Updates on The New IIT Law & Implications for Seconded Foreign Employees

Okura Garden Hotel Shanghai, China | 8th May, 2019 | 8 AM - 10 AM CST

May 08, 2019

On 8th May, Dezan Shira & Associates in collaboration with Benelux Chamber of Commerce Chapter Shanghai, Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce in China and Buren law firm will co-host a breakfast seminar about Updates on The New IIT Law & Implications for Seconded Foreign Employees at Shanghai.

Since the 1st January 2019, China's new IIT has brought significant changes to China's individual income tax regime, of which the implementation is becoming clearer after several clarifications are given by tax authorities.

As the on-going reform, it is also important for Foreign Invested Companies in China to understand when seconded foreign employees (sent to China by their HQ) are becoming subject to China's new IIT law.

By the end of the seminar, you will be able to learn:

  • Which IIT Law changes are essential for foreign workers in China?
  • What are the implications of dispatching foreign employees to China?
  • Can foreign employees establish a permanent establishment of the HQ?
