Yi Wu is an Editorial and Research Assistant for the China Briefing. He covers China’s economic, business, and regulatory environment for foreign investors and multinational corporations. Yi writes on a broad range of topics, with a primary focus on the energy and technology markets in China. He also provides business strategies by analyzing investment opportunities

Yi is a current Master of Public Policy student at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he concentrates on political and economic development. His thesis (second-year policy analysis exercise) focuses on understanding the cost drivers of energy transmission grids and explores the most effective business operation model.

Previously, Yi has worked with multiple UN entities in different regions (including China, the US, and Africa), focusing on both security and development issues. He graduated with a BA in political science and legal studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He is currently based in Boston, US.
